Medical Disclaimer
Informational purposes only. OriginHub apps are not medical advice.
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This disclaimer applies to all OriginHub applications and services. Our apps are general wellness and self-tracking tools. They are not medical devices, and they do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Everything our apps show you is for informational and educational purposes only.
Always check with your doctor or another qualified health professional in addition to using our apps, and before making any medical decision. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in one of our apps.
Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Our apps do not replace consultation, examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed physician, dietitian, dentist, pharmacist, therapist, or other qualified provider. Using an OriginHub app does not create a doctor–patient, dietitian–client, or any other professional care relationship between you and OriginHub.
Our apps have not been evaluated or cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, or any comparable regulatory body, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
About AI-Generated Content
Some features in our apps are generated by artificial intelligence. AI systems can be confidently wrong. Treat every AI-generated result as a starting point for your own judgement, never as a verified fact, and never as a clinical finding.
- AI features may misidentify what you photograph or describe, particularly when an image is unclear or when a name is ambiguous or written in another language. Check what the app says it analysed before relying on the result.
- AI-generated assessments, scores, categories, and suggestions are estimates. They may be incomplete or incorrect, and they cannot account for everything about your individual situation.
- AI-generated results are not a safety assessment. They must not be relied upon to avoid an allergen, an interaction, an irritant, or any other hazard.
Tracking, Scores, and Trends
Any score, trend, streak, insight, or progress indicator our apps display is a general wellness signal derived from the information you entered. It is not a clinical measurement, it has not been clinically validated, and it cannot detect, diagnose, monitor, or rule out any disease or condition. Data you log is only as accurate as what you enter.
Medication, Supplements, and Hormones
Where an app lets you record medications, supplements, injections, doses, or schedules, it is a record-keeping tool only. It does not prescribe, recommend, adjust, or verify any treatment, dose, or timing, and it does not check for interactions or contraindications. Never start, stop, change, or skip a prescribed treatment based on anything in our apps. Follow your prescriber’s instructions and the official product information, and speak to your doctor or pharmacist with any questions.
Diet and Nutrition
Nutrition and food-related information in our apps is general and does not account for portion size, preparation method, brand-specific recipes, cross-contamination, or your individual tolerance. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, verify ingredients directly with the product label or the person who prepared the food. Restrictive and elimination diets are normally intended to be followed for a limited period and under professional supervision; talk to a qualified professional before making significant changes to how you eat.
Exercise, Devices, and Treatments
Physical activity carries a risk of injury. Consult your doctor before starting or intensifying an exercise programme, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have been inactive. Where an app relates to a physical device, appliance, or therapy, always follow the manufacturer’s own instructions, safety warnings, and contraindications; our apps do not verify that any device or treatment is safe or appropriate for you, and they do not supervise its use.
Individual Results Vary
Bodies respond differently. Information that applies to most people may not apply to you, and nothing in our apps is personalised medical guidance. Your own clinician’s advice should always take precedence over anything an app suggests.
Third-Party Sources and Links
Our apps and this page may reference or link to publicly available health resources for general reading. Those organisations have not reviewed, verified, or endorsed our apps or any result they produce, and a reference to them is not confirmation that a particular result is correct. We are not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party materials.
No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
Our apps and their content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or merchantability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OriginHub and its developers accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, our apps or their content. You use our apps and act on their information entirely at your own risk. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to This Disclaimer
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and continued use of our apps after an update means you accept the revised version.
